Project: Refurbishment of Ceramic Galleries

The works comprise the light demolition and strip out of the sixth floor ceramic galleries 136 – 139 of the Grade 1 listed building followed by their general refurbishment which will include new exhibition displays and cases including narrative display with upgraded access for Museum staff and a new study area.  The works will also include;

• Upgrade of heating and ventilation including new roof plant
• Refurbishment, repairs and decoration of existing galleries
• New high level lighting
• Installation of new display cases by specialist Keijsers
• Refurbishment of existing windows inside and out
• Roof repairs as required
• Solar window film installation
