Aims and objectives

The CDM for designers course aims to provide candidates with the following;

- thorough understanding of the CDM regs and your responsibilities as a designer

- to ensure that design risk assessments aren't viewed as the only way of communicating design risk

- coordination methods

- understanding of specific design risks and how these should be managed.

Course content

The course covers designers' responsibilities, design risk assessment, providing information, co-operation and co-ordination. This course also provides a legal overview.

This is the only ocurse available that givs designers a unique insight into the CDM regulations for a CDM coordinators perspective. Designers are in the ideal position to reduce risk very early on in the project. Designers also have a number of responsibilities under the regulations and this course helps to give designers the confidence that they are successfully meeting these duties.
